October 5, 2025 – Minneapolis, MN
On October 5, the Head and Neck Cancer Foundation proudly participated in the 2025 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend, joining thousands of runners in the heart of Minneapolis. Our team of 10 participants raced through the streets of Minneapolis to raise awareness and funds for those impacted by head and neck cancers.
The Twin Cities Marathon brought together participants of all ages and experience levels. One banner along the course stood out: “Remember Your Reason,” a message that resonated with our team throughout the event. Leading the fundraising efforts was Dan Alman, who raised $1,789.90! Dr. Deepak Kademani, founder of the Head and Neck Cancer Foundation, kindly matched Dan’s total, doubling every dollar raised. Together, our team raised $6,293.19. Funds raised will go directly toward education, free screening events, and other initiatives to increase awareness and improve outcomes for those impacted by head and neck cancers.
Donations are still welcome! You can support a runner or contribute directly to our team page, Head and Neck Cancer Foundation on Race Roster, or register to participate in next year’s event on our new registration page.
“It was a beautiful day, and the incredible energy kept our team moving all the way to the finish line. It was inspiring to run alongside such a dedicated group,” said Dr. Deepak Kademani.
