Biography

Jennifer Thul, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in both Biology and Psychology from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN in 2021 and completed her Master in Physician Assistant Studies at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska in 2024. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medical Science degree from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon in 2025. There, she wrote a doctorate thesis titled “Craniofacial Birth Defects: A Review of Best Practices to Cleft Care.”

As a bilateral cleft lip and palate patient herself with clinical educational backgrounds in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, ENT, and Facial Plastics, Jennifer has found a passion in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the various conditions treated. She loves the broad scope of practice within OMFS and its ability to improve one’s confidence and quality of life through cosmetic or reconstructive approaches to care. She enjoys being at her patients’ side from the beginning to end of their treatment course not only as a provider but a trusted confidant, and looks forward to building rapport with everyone she has the honor of serving.

PERSONAL

Jennifer enjoys spending her free time with her family and dog at the lake, where she takes part in activities like hiking, fishing, and boating. She is an avid golfer during the summer and a dedicated hockey fan in the winter. Her passion for sports extends year-round through her volunteer work with the Special Olympics at various state tournaments. Jennifer is an active member of both the American Academy of PAs and the Minnesota Academy of PAs, using these organizations to stay connected to the PA community and current in general medicine practices.
